Luna and Her Diamonds
After old Apollo retires to his bed in the west
Luna withdraws from hers, clad in a new dress
her diamonds, strung together, dot the darkened skies
Traveling on every last inch of Luna 'till morning, Apollo rise
Sometimes, Apollo has time to kiss her, and bid her rejuvenating sleep
Others, she is out, and he can sweep her off her feet
Just recently, on the twenty-first of August, with Apollo did Luna dance

A few times, Luna tripped on sheep as they slept
Others, she was wrapped in a sheet by a passing jet
All night, she will witness romance, horror, and more
When she finally retires
